"The Class" with one more season they could wrap it all up. :( It was so funny. Either that or "Journeyman" which also was awesome and way better than crap like "Heroes" or "Gossip Girl".
EDIT: Ohhh I thought of more. :( Gilmore Girls, Whose Line is it Anyways, and Aladdin the T.V. series. :D

So I saw "CSI: Edmonton" tonight at the dinner theater.
So funny.
Much Horatio bashing. Which made me happy.

There was going to be more, but now that I have my computer back I want to concentrate on remaking the data I lost. :( And yes, I realize some of these are crap... I hope to offset that with the good ones. ^^;

Looks could kill. He was immortal.
Put a X by the movies you've seen. If you get more than 70, you're a movie whore.
( Let's see if I'm a movie whore... )
Whoot. 98 for me. :D

So I was trying different things to get a 'selective-color' sort of look on an icon made in PSP(8) and this was what I managed to come up with so I thought I would share this with everyone. :)

So... saw Dark Knight... And well, wasn't as good as I was expecting. Everyone who I knew who had seen it said it was amazing, that heath ledger was a God etc. etc.
Don't get me wrong!
It was a great movie, above average yes. Amazing, the best, fantastic? I wouldn't use those words. The effects were great, the dialouge was interesting and I can certainly see this being an easy film to write an English essay on symbolism in. However, it was not the most amazing movie ever, and Heath was not as good as had been let on. Again: DON'T GET ME WRONG. He was good and all yes, but an oscar winner? Depends if his competition sucks. Oscar Nominee definitely.
The screen-writers are the ones who deserve the oscar, and the special effects guys... But apart from that it met my expectations, did not exceed them. I'll be buying the special edition when it comes out, but I'm not about to go and spend another 12 bucks to see it at the theatres again.
Ledger's character was interesting, but I personally enjoyed watching Eckhart's character more, I found his development more intriguing and thought Joker was a major major foilf or him. I'm not saying Ledger wasn't interesting to watch, he was. He was far more interesting in this than any of his other movies (like the snorefest Brokeback?). On the screen in this film he had this way about him that made something settle in the back of your mind, a kind of uneasiness that made any sudden 'boo!' shot that much scarier.
Ledger's performence was, essentially, like I could see pretty much any good actor doing. It was not exceedingly unique, interesting. But any good actor could have pulled off that role. Ledger's performence was not a gigantic deal, did not deserve standing ovations within the movie (nothing does), but was creepy, cool and interesting. A new class of criminal indeed.
Dark Knight? Shiny, loud, creepy. Nine stars out of ten.
On another note, the previews for Dark Knight were interesting... Especially The Watchmen. I am excited for that... as well as a possible Oscar contender - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

1. what is your favorite Disney movie and why?
Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules are all tied up. I adore the villains in both of them. James Woods does a fantastic Hades and there are a few songs in the movie that I really enjoy. However, I love Greek myth and seeing it slaughtered is kind of awkward. HoND however has very interesting characters, a great art style and animation, and the songs are all beautiful to listen to. I think that in the end... HoND is my favorite because of the story, characters, song and amazing animation. (Pocahontas is good too!)
2. who is your favourite disney princess and why?
Belle. I really enjoy BatB and I love the awkwardness of her character with real people. I like her intelligence and how she doesn't rely on other people to get the job done when it really needs to be done. (If I could choose any disney heroine I would go with Esmeralda or Pocahontas)
3. who is your favourite disney villian and why?
Oh man... Uh... Hades or Frollo... Or Jafar... or Gov. Ratcliffe.
I think I'll go with... Frollo. Cos the entire movie is so much darker, and he a real evil in this world, with his craziness of religion and the fact that his set-values and lust (hypocrite!) which motivate him. I find him to be a very interesting character.
(Lord Cutler Beckett is really effin' sweet too!)
4. who is your favourite disney sidekick and why?
Djali! Or possibly Meeko...Hm, I think Djali. Uh... why? Cos he's cute. And, er... eats things.
5. what is your favourite song from a disney movie and why?
OMG THAT IS TOO HARD!
Bells of Notre Dame, In Here, Out There, Topsy Turvy, Court of Miracles, Hell Fire, Heaven's Light, God Help the Outcasts (HoND); Friend Like Me, One Jump Ahead, Prince Ali, Out of Thin Air, Forget About Love (Aladdin); Be Our Guest, Belle, Gaston, Something There (BatB); I can go the Distance, Won't Say I'm in Love, One Last Hope (Hercules); Be Prepared, Just Can't Wait to be King, He Lives in You, We Are One, One of Us (TLK); Part of Your World, Under the Sea, Poor Unfortunate Soul, Kiss the Girl, For a Moment (TLM); A Girl Worth Fighting For, I'll Make a Man Out of You (Mulan); Kidnap the Sandy Claws, This is Halloween, What's This? (NBC); Colors of the Wind, Just Around the Riverbend, Mine Mine Mine, Savages (Pocahontas); Son of Man, You'll Be in my Heart, Two Worlds, Strangers Like Me (Tarzan); I'm Still Here (TP); On My Way (Brother Bear); True Love's Kiss, Happy Working Song (Enchanted); Ratigan (GMD); Ooh-de-Lally (RH
I'm prolly missing a lot... but w/e.
6. what is your favourite disney quote?
“We dance we kiss we schmooze we go home happy whaddya say?" - Hades
"Nobody move! I dropped me brain." - Jack hallucination
"Its just...good business." - Beckett
" You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew you never knew." - Pocahantas
7. what is your favourite disney sequel and why?
I really like TLK2 story-wise, and I really like TLM2 for songs... BUT. Aladdin 2 & 3 win. Everytime. OK, maybe not two... but Aladdin 3 is fantastic. Good songs, Robin Williams is back, etc. etc. etc. [I don't need to explain myself!]
8. what disney character can you relate to the most/are the most like?
Hm... That's hard. I really, really don't know. Er... Flit? The humming bird from Pocahontas?... xD I really don't know.

Since I can't think of anything else to post, here goes a movie "review(?)" for the movie I saw last night.
No Reservations
Genre? Romantic Comedy
Rating? ***
"Kate is a terrific chef at a Manhattan restaurant, sent to therapy by the restaurant owner because she is cold, unyielding, rule-bound, and a pain in the neck. Kate's world is flipped over when her only sister dies and her ten-year-old niece, Zoe, comes to live with her. As Kate struggles to be a parent to a grief-stricken child, the one world she used to control - the restaurant kitchen - is changed utterly by the restaurant's hiring a second chef, the loose, operatic, Italian-trained Nick, who claims it's an honor to work in Kate's kitchen but who she suspects wants to replace her. Can the music of Puccini and the taste of good pasta soften Kate's heart?"
This movie seemed to follow the classic romantic comedy template of bad, awkward, good, bad, worst, good again scheme, but it does it well and with flair. The chemistry between Zeta-Jones and Eckhart is unmistakable and makes this film a success. The casting was spot on and the dialouge was well-written making sure that the audience would laugh in all the right places. If you enjoy Romantic Comedies you will enjoy this film. I can easily reccommend this... without any reservations.

For the most part, the taste in icons on this site is pretty good. But then I see stuff that is totally plain, maybe a huge batch of icons... but all are just a decently-cropped picture with the EXACT SAME EFFECTS on each one. And I say, 'Wow, they should have out way more effort into these'... then I get to the bottom of the post and people are like 'OMG AWSOM!!11' What the hell?! It shows no creativity, its boring, I don't get WHY PEOPLE LIKE THEM SO MUCH!
What pissed me off more is when I was sifting through an elite icons application board and I saw that kind of icon and the people who made the community are like 'awesome you can join!' the next person had these fantastic icons, all were unbelievably creative, the effects were complicated and all of them were different. You know what the people said? 'No. These don't look good at all. Try again when you get better at icon-making. :/'
WHAT THE HELL?!
Ugh.
Maybe I should just make myself a .PSD file with a bunch of color layers. And everytime I do an icon I'll put those layers on top.
Then I can tell I'll be really popular.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I think some of you may recognize some of the '06 icons in my last post. If this is right, well then you should know that I am Houdoushi. :) I just made a new account because I didn't like the name of that and I wouldn't have come back (due to that reason, mostly) except my sister had me rejoin.

OK, I figured that right off the bat I'd get all of my sort of good icons posted. So under the cut you'll find 94 icons. My newest, from 2008, are at the top and my oldest, from 2006, are at the bottom.
